Dr. Martens has teamed up with Cartoon Network for a crossover of truly mathematical proportions. They’re introducing three new eight-eye Gibson boot designs featuring Finn and Jake from Adventure Time.Jake’s arm and fist circling the top of his boots almost make it look like he’s wrapped himself around your feet, sort of like when Finn dons The Jakesuit (please, don’t go jumping into any volcanoes for fun while wearing them, you don’t live in the Land of Ooo). Adventure Time fans know how Jake feels about boots, so it’s only fitting that he’s getting his very own Gibsons.

Finn’s boots feature his unmistakable nubby-eared hat. There’s one for each boot, and they’re not attached like Jake’s arms — you lace them in. The third Dr. Martens X Adventure Time design features an all-over print of Finn and Jake in action. If you look closely, you’ll even notice one spot where it looks like Jake has turned into one of his Dr. Martens boots.

The official Docs blog post notes that two of the Adventure Time designs will be manufactured in limited numbers. That seems to indicate it’s the Finn and Jake boots, so you’ll have to be quick on the draw if you want a pair: Dr. Martens is only producing 1,460 pairs for sale around the globe.

There’s another design that will be even harder to come by: yours! Dr. Martens and Cartoon Network are also offering fans a chance to win their very own custom creation. All you’ve got to do is visit the contest page, whip up your own design, and cross your fingers. They’re only picking one winner.
