WWE Reveals ‘WWE 2K15′ Cover Athlete

Almost 24 hours after climbing his way to his 15th World Heavyweight Title reign, WWE Champ John Cena was announced as the cover athlete of WWE 2K15. While this isn’t Cena’s first time covering the game, it is his first cover under the 2K Games umbrella, and it will be interesting to see just how much 2K changes things this time around. Gamers voiced overall displeasure at last years game, as it was left largely unchanged due to the fact that THQ already had the game finished before they fell victim to bankruptcy, and eventually sold the license to 2K. This lead to a few new gaming modes, and sleeker animations, but overall a game that was very much a carbon copy of the last WWE video game.

I am pretty excited at seeing the cover athlete finally be revealed, as it generally means we’re only a couple weeks away from an official trailer being released. WWE 2k15 is set to launch on October 28th in the US for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
